Samantha Blackadar, LCSW

Samantha is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Maine and New Hampshire who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire. Samantha has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. Samantha has provided intensive home-based services to at-risk youth and families, developed and carried out a School Social Worker position, and worked with children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting. In her therapeutic work, Samantha utilizes complimentary techniques from evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing. Outside of work, Samantha can be found adventuring outside, hanging out with her dogs, or sipping a good cup of coffee.

Tighe Blackadar, LCSW

Tighe earned his Bachelor of Arts in English and Outdoor Education in 2011 and his Masters of Social Work (MSW) in 2015 at the University of New Hampshire. He is licensed as an independent clinical social worker in the state of Maine. He has worked with youth since 2012 in a variety of settings, including community mental health, school social work and experiential and outdoor adventure programs. Tighe’s approach to therapy pulls from a variety of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Social Work. He believes in the healing benefits of time spend in nature and the power of building healthy interpersonal relationships. He enjoys traveling and spending as much time in the backcountry as he can.
